Initial Nutrition Assessment
$195 (70 minutes)
The initial nutrition assessment is where we answer questions about your medical history, current concerns, and what success would look like when we finish working together. This is an in-depth opportunity for us to discuss your relationship with food and body and how we can best work together to meet your longterm goals.
Katy Zanville Nutrition Therapy offers discounted rates for those that cannot afford the above rates.

Do you accept insurance?
At this moment, Katy Zanville Nutrition Therapy is only in network with Aetna insurance. Upon request, I will provide a monthly Superbill which you may submit to your health insurance for potential reimbursement for "out-of-network medical nutrition therapy". Please contact the customer service of your health insurance company to determine eligibility and benefits.
Many insurance plans have limitations on the number of visits allowed per year, or on the diagnosis that they will cover. insurance could also lead to a large patient responsibility of the total charges to insurance.
How many sessions should I expect?
The number of sessions depends on the client's health condition and time commitment. I typically see clients every week or every other week with a minimum of three sessions. Expect to work with me for at least 3 months for maximum impact.
Do you work on weight loss with clients?
I take a weight-neutral, health at every size approach to nutrition and wellness. That means that I focus on behaviors versus the number on the scale. Behaviors can include eating more frequently, adding in more variety to meals, finding joyful movement, reducing stress, and improving sleep hygiene. I work with clients on improving the way they feel about their body instead of the way that it looks.
